Can libraries match it with bookshops? The new 'genre' non-fiction collection at Ferntree Gully Library might help us answer this question.
The process of creating the collection has proved very interesting - did Dewey need the 300's to cater for all the 'too hard' subjects that simply didn't fit anywhere??? We found so many different subjects in the 300's - very difficult to 'genre'!
Ferntree Gully staff are putting the 'genre' collection to the test!
Take a look at the mini-makeover at Ferntree Gully when you get the opportunity. A panel of 'slatwall' has been use to house an eXpresso collection. Looks great - very modern.
